Maureen Denise McCormick - the youngest and sole daughter of Richard McCormick, in 1956 - was born at Woodland Hills (California) on 5 August. Her mother was at her home, and she was a aspiring mother-in-law who was a stay-at-home mom. Michael Dennis Kevin was one of her elder siblings. At a very young time, McCormick loved to sing and dance, and would frequently put on shows with puppets to entertain the children of the neighborhood. The fame-making fairytale of McCormick began when she was crowned in the Baby Miss San Fernando Valley contest when she was six, which led to an inquiry from the an agent for talent Pat Domigan of the Jack Wormser Agency and inquired if she wanted to enter the show business. McCormick got her first big job in 1964, where she was the star of an advertisement on television for Mattel's newest doll "Baby Pattaburp." That same year, she starred in another advertisement for Mattel's doll "Chatty Caty" and soon was cast at the La Jolla Playhouse as in the character of eldest daughter on the upcoming TV sitcom, The Brady Bunch. 'The Brady Bunch' In 1969, McCormick was chosen from the 1,200 youngsters who auditioned to play the oldest of three daughters in the upcoming TV sitcom The Brady Bunch, starring Florence Henderson and Robert Reed as newlyweds who have an unintended family. The show ran for five years and the show proved to be a huge great success. In her memoir, Here's the story: surviving Marcia Brady and Finding My True Voice, published in 2008, McCormick disclosed that during the fifth season of the show, she almost lost her virginity to her screen twin brother and co-star Barry Williams. He was just 19. She was just 16. "It was going to happen," said the woman, "but it never happened at the right time for us."
